Grocery Shopping Tips:

Bring your own cloth tote bags to the grocery store. Not only do most grocery stores
give you money back for supplying your own bags, but some will charge you for using
paper or plastic.

Leave your tote bags in your car so you don't forget them. If you accidently forget
your bags at home, some grocery stores have a recycling program that will allow you
to return the plastic bags to their store. You can also find useful tips on how to reuse
old plastic bags in your home here.

Green Life Awareness has grocery tote bags available to get you started. All profits
from each donation go to various foundations to help our environment (more info).

Recycle Plastic Bags:

Don't just throw away your plastic bags, get some use out of them or dispose of them properly. One of the best ways to help our
environment and keep down waste is to reuse something as much as possible before throwing it away.

Use them around the house in small trash cans as mini trash bags.
Put them over your shoes when gardening to keep your shoes clean.
Recycle them at your local grocery store (where available).
"As the technology for solar cells gets
better and better, this form of clean,
renewable energy will find more
applications that take up less space and
produce more electricity, to meet the
energy needs of our homes, schools and
businesses."
Samuel Bodman
